The Saucony Endorphin Elite 2 is carbon-plated marathon racing shoe with one of the softest and bounciest foams we've ever tested. It retains the aggressive rocker geometry of the original Endorphin Elite but ditches the direct and planted feel of the OG's PWRRUN HG foam for a squishy new compound called Incredirun. It's fun and fast, compressing to the ground with each stride before snapping back up and encouraging a quick turnover. The main downside is that the chunky heel of soft foam is extremely unstable when cornering, and the platform at time feels too soft when running faster paces or putting force down through the front. Runners who like the feel of soft speed shoes will love this. Fans of the original Saucony Endorphin Elite should consider the Nike Alphafly 3, Puma Deviate Nitro 3 or Asics Metaspeed Edge Paris instead. Note that this fits extremely snug and short, so consider going half a size up.
